sooo remember how i announced my return like weeks ago and was gonna update u with my grand new plan for the rest of the year?? well, to no one's surprise, the plan has changed yet again. for those that were left hanging, the plan as of february was to move to marthas vineyard for a year, get a job, and live my best life before moving to europe. now, looking back, (as if im so much older and wiser a month later lol) i'm realizing that while that still does sound like the dream - and i most likely will live there at some point, it wasn't rlly going to get me anywhere. it wasnt like i had a great job lined up, i couldn't find housing, and i would have been working minimum wage probably renting out a room in someone's house. again, i would have made it work and it could have been an awesome experience. but i was forgetting to consider what would come after that. like ok, i've just lived on this island for a year, i have no money, nothing exciting to put on my resume, and am basically in the same position i was a year ago, just on the other side of the country. let's just say my last trip to new york (which was supposed to be a week long and ended up almost a month long) was revelational. i'll tell u all about it in my next post (scout's honor that it'll come before ur 100), but all u need to know rn is that im frfr makin moves and i'm finally feeling settled (!!!). this is it. this is what i want to do. i can do it anywhere. it'll be so fulfilling. i can't wait.
